DECREE

REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF NAM DINH IN THE PROVINCE OF NAM HA

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

CONSIDERING THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF NAM HA PROVINCE AND THE MINISTER - HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION AND CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT,

DECREE:

ARTICLE 1.- The boundaries of the city of Nam Dinh in the province of Nam Ha shall be adjusted as follows:

Transfer two communes, Nam Phong and Nam Van, from Nam Ninh district to the management of the city of Nam Dinh.

After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:

- The city of Nam Dinh has a natural area of 6,760 hectares and a population of 263,600 people, comprising 25 wards and communes.

The boundaries of the city of Nam Dinh: East borders the province of Thai Binh; West borders Nam Lục district; South borders Nam Ninh district; North borders Ly Nhan district.

- Nam Ninh district retains a natural area of 25,960.86 hectares and a population of 327,400 people, comprising 35 communes and towns.

Article 2.- This Decree takes effect from the date of issuance. All previous regulations that conflict with this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3.- The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Ha Province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Civil Service Department are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
