- Pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Press Law No. 12/1999/QH-10 adopted at the fifth session of the 10th National Assembly on June 12, 1999;
- Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 81/CP dated November 8, 1993 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
- Pursuant to the Decision No. 2523/TC-QD dated July 29, 1995 of the Minister of Culture and Information on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Museum Preservation Department;
- Considering the proposal of the Director of the Museum Preservation Department and the Head of the Cadre and Civil Servant Affairs Department,

Article 1. Establish the Cultural Heritage Magazine under the Museum Preservation Department, Ministry of Culture and Information.
The Cultural Heritage Magazine is the press organ of the museum preservation sector, operating as a public service entity with its own seal for transactions and access to the account of the Museum Preservation Department. The headquarters of the Cultural Heritage Magazine is located in Hanoi.
Article 2. The Cultural Heritage Magazine shall have the following tasks:
1. Propagating and disseminating the Party's policies, State laws, and directives from the Ministry of Culture and Information regarding activities in the field of cultural heritage preservation.
2. Serving as a forum for theoretical exchange and practical experience sharing; reflecting and guiding public opinion on activities related to the protection and promotion of cultural heritage values.
3. Introducing Vietnamese and global cultural heritages.
4. Providing information on domestic and international activities related to the protection and promotion of cultural heritage values.
Article 3. The organization of the Cultural Heritage Magazine's publication activities includes:
+ Chief Editor, Deputy Chief Editor;
+ Professional staff.
The staffing of the Cultural Heritage Magazine is balanced within the total staffing of the Museum Preservation Department.
Article 4. The operational budget of the Cultural Heritage Magazine is provided by the State budget through the regular budget plan of the Museum Preservation Department.
Article 5. The Director of the Museum Preservation Department is responsible for arranging personnel; establishing the regulations governing the operation of the Cultural Heritage Magazine and registering its activities in accordance with current laws.
Article 6. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 7. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Cadre and Civil Servant Affairs Department, the Planning Department, the Finance and Accounting Department, the Press Department, the Museum Preservation Department, and the heads of relevant units are responsible for implementing this Decision.
