Regarding the issuance of the Regulation on Registration of Fishing Vessels and Crew Members

THE MINISTER OF AQUATIC RESOURCES

Pursuant to the Fisheries Law 2003.

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 43/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 2, 2003 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Aquatic Resources.

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 66/2005/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2005 on ensuring safety for persons and fishing vessels engaged in fisheries activities.

At the proposal of the Director of the Fisheries Resource Exploitation and Protection Department.

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. The attached to this Decision is the "Regulation on Registration of Fishing Vessels and Crew Members".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

This Regulation supersedes the provisions on registration of fishing vessels and crew members in the Inspection Regulations for Fishing Vessels, Registration of Fishing Vessels and Crew Members issued together with Decision No. 494/2001/QĐ-BTS dated June 15, 2001 of the Minister of Aquatic Resources.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office; Heads of Departments; Inspector General of the Ministry; Directors of the Fisheries Resource Exploitation and Protection Department; Directors of Fisheries Departments and Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development responsible for fisheries management are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
