Issuing National Technical Regulations on Telecommunications

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Telecommunications dated November 23, 2009;

Pursuant to the Law on Radio Frequency dated November 23, 2009;

BASED ON THE GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 187/2007/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 25, 2007 ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS;

WHEREAS, Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B

Article 1. The following 11 National Technical Regulations on Telecommunications are hereby issued together with this Circular:

1) National Technical Regulation on Civil Band Angle Modulated Radio Equipment at 27 MHz

2) National Technical Regulation on VHF Radio Station Equipment for Coastal Stations in the GMDSS System

3) National Technical Regulation on Single Sideband and/or Double Sideband Modulated Civil Band Radio Equipment at 27 MHz

4) National Technical Regulation on Fixed VHF Two-Way Telephone Equipment Installed on Rescue Ships

5) National Technical Regulation on Inmarsat-B Ground Station Equipment Used on Ships

6) National Technical Regulation on Inmarsat-C Ground Station Equipment Used on Ships

7) National Technical Regulation on Frequency Range and Electromagnetic Compatibility for AM Broadcasting Equipment

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect six months from the date of issuance.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Department Heads of the Science and Technology Department, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, Directors of Provincial Departments of Information and Communications, General Directors, Directors of telecommunications enterprises, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.
