DECREE
Regarding the approval of the number of provincial People's Council delegates; the list of electoral units and
the number of delegates to be elected in each electoral unit for the provincial People's Council
term 1999 – 2004 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Election of People's Council Deputies (amended) dated June 21, 1994;
At the request of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Affairs Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Approve the number of 45 (forty-five) provincial People's Council delegates, 18 (eighteen) electoral units, and the number of delegates to be elected in each electoral unit for the provincial People's Council of Ba Ria - Vung Tau (attached list).
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Minister - Head of the Organization and Cadre Affairs Department of the Government, and the Minister - Director of the Government Office are responsible for implementing this Decree.
