Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries to establish communes
under the districts of Ia Grai, Chu Pah, Gia Lai province

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish the commune of Ia Khai under the district of Ia Grai, and the communes of Ia Nhin and Ia Ly under the district of Chu Pah, Gia Lai province, as follows:
1. Establishing the commune of Ia Khai under the district of Ia Grai based on 16,518.5 hectares of natural area and 2,475 population from the commune of Ia Krai.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Ia Khai: East borders the commune of Ia To and the district of Chu Pah; West borders the province of Kon Tum; South borders the communes of Ia O, Ia To, and the new Ia Krai; North borders the district of Chu Pah and the province of Kon Tum.
After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Ia Krai remains with 6,321.5 hectares of natural area and 4,878 population.
2. Establishing the commune of Ia Nhin under the district of Chu Pah based on 3,205 hectares of natural area and 3,758 population from the commune of Ia Ka.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Ia Nhin: East borders the communes of Nghia Hoa and Hoa Phu; West borders the new commune of Ia Ka; South borders the district of Ia Grai; North borders the new commune of Ia Ka.
After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Ia Ka remains with 11,556.7 hectares of natural area and 4,886 population.

a) Transferring all three villages of Kanh, Tum, and Yut with 915 hectares of natural area and 860 population from the commune of Ia Mo Nong to be managed by the commune of Ia Phi; transferring 170 hectares of surface water area of Lake Ia Ly from the commune of Ia Phi to be managed by the commune of Ia Mo Nong.
The commune of Ia Mo Nong, after adjusting the administrative boundary, has 21,795 hectares of natural area and 8,641 population.
The commune of Ia Phi, after adjusting the administrative boundary, has 6,995 hectares of natural area and 5,172 population.
b) Establishing the commune of Ia Ly under the district of Chu Pah based on 4,844 hectares of natural area and 4,570 population from the commune of Ia Mo Nong.
The administrative boundary of the commune of Ia Ly: East borders the commune of Ia Phi; West borders the commune of Ia Mo Nong and the province of Kon Tum; South borders the commune of Ia Mo Nong; North borders the commune of Ia Phi and the province of Kon Tum.
After adjusting the administrative boundary, the commune of Ia Mo Nong remains with 16,951 hectares of natural area and 4,071 population.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
