Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and establishment of communes under the districts of Ea H'leo, Krông Năng, Krông Ana, Krông Nô, and Đắk R'lấp, Dak Lak province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province,
DECREE
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted and communes are established under the districts of Ea H'Leo, Krông Năng, Krông Ana, Krông Nô, and Đắk R'Lấp, Dak Lak province as follows:
1. Transfer 713 hectares of natural area from commune Ea Hiao, district Ea H'Leo to commune Dliê Ya, district Krông Năng for management.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
District Krông Năng has 62,033 hectares of natural area and 103,708 population.
Commune Dliê Ya under district Krông Năng has 18,253 hectares of natural area and 17,829 population.
District Ea H'Leo remains with 132,894 hectares of natural area and 99,351 population.
Commune Ea Hiao under district Ea H'Leo remains with 12,887 hectares of natural area and 10,449 population.
2. Establish commune Cư Klông under district Krông Năng based on 3,945 hectares of natural area and 705 population from commune Dliê Ya; 3,738 hectares of natural area and 3,331 population from commune Ea Tam.
Commune Cư Klông has 7,683 hectares of natural area and 4,036 population.
Administrative boundary of commune Cư Klông: East borders Gia Lai province; West borders commune Dliê Ya; South borders commune Ea Tam; North borders district Ea H'Leo.
3. Establish commune Ea Tân based on 5,353 hectares of natural area and 8,681 population from commune Dliê Ya.
Commune Ea Tân has 5,353 hectares of natural area and 8,681 population.
Administrative boundary of commune Ea Tân: East borders commune Dliê Ya; West borders district Krông Búk; South borders commune Ea Tóh; North borders district Ea H'Leo.
After adjusting administrative boundaries and establishing communes Cư Klông and Ea Tân:
Commune Dliê Ya remains with 8,955 hectares of natural area and 8,443 population.
Commune Ea Tam remains with 8,624 hectares of natural area and 9,236 population.
4. Establish commune Dray Sáp under district Krông Ana based on 3,950 hectares of natural area and 8,049 population from commune Ea Na.
Administrative boundary of commune Dray Sáp: East borders commune Ea Bông; West borders districts Krông Nô, Cư Jút; South borders commune Ea Na; North borders district Cư Jút and city Buôn Ma Thuột.
After establishing commune Dray Sáp, commune Ea Na remains with 4,262 hectares of natural area and 11,971 population.
5. Establish commune Nâm N'Đir under district Krông Nô based on 14,409 hectares of natural area and 5,154 population from commune Nam Nung.
Administrative boundary of commune Nâm N'Đir: East borders communes Ea R'Bin, Đức Xuyên and district Krông Ana; West borders commune Nâm Nung and district Đắk Song; South borders commune Đức Xuyên and district Đắk Nông; North borders commune Đắk Rồ.
After establishing commune Nâm N'Đir, commune Nam Nung remains with 7,726 hectares of natural area and 3,586 population. Change the name of commune Nam Nung to commune Nâm Nung.
6. Establish commune Đắk Ru under district Đắk RLấp based on 8,969 hectares of natural area and 6,537 population from commune Quảng Tín.
Administrative boundary of commune Đắk Ru: East borders commune Đắk Sin; West borders Bình Phước province; South borders commune Đắk Sin and Bình Phước province; North borders commune Quảng Tín.
After establishing commune Đắk Ru, commune Quảng Tín remains with 19,566 hectares of natural area and 8,410 population.
Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
