THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decision No. 125/QĐ-TTg dated January 28, 2003 of the Prime Minister approving the overall restructuring and renewal plan for state-owned corporations and enterprises under the Ministry of Industry for the period 2003-2005;
Pursuant to Decisions No. 26/2003/QĐ-BCN to No. 40/2003/QĐ-BCN dated March 6, 2003 of the Minister of Industry on the reorganization of some affiliated units and transferring independent accounting units of Vietnam Leather Footwear Corporation directly under the Ministry of Industry, and Decision No. 76/2003/QĐ-BCN dated May 6, 2003 of the Minister of Industry on the establishment of Vietnam Leather Company;
Considering the proposal of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Leather Footwear Corporation at Document No. 155/BC-HĐQT dated June 16, 2003 and the Minutes of Handover dated June 13, 2003 between Vietnam Leather Footwear Corporation and Vietnam Leather Company;
At the suggestion of the Director of the Department of Organization and Cadres,

Article 1. Dissolve Vietnam Leather Footwear Corporation.
Article 2. The Board of Directors of Vietnam Leather Footwear Corporation shall be responsible for returning the seal of the Corporation in accordance with the provisions of Government Decree No. 58/2001/NĐ-CP dated August 24, 2001, and implementing procedures to terminate the operations of the Corporation in accordance with the law.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The Director of the Office of the Ministry, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments and Bureaus under the Ministry, the Board of Directors, and the General Director of Vietnam Leather Footwear Corporation are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
