DECREE

Regarding the establishment of Thạnh Lợi Commune and Hoà Bình Commune under Tháp Mười District and Tam Nông District, Dong Thap Province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government,

DECREE

Article 1. Now establish Thạnh Lợi Commune and Hoà Bình Commune under Tháp Mười District and Tam Nông District, Dong Thap Province.

1. Establish Hoà Bình Commune under Tam Nông District based on 2,197.4 hectares of natural area and 2,598 population of Tân Công Sính Commune; 694.8 hectares of natural area and 31 people of Phú Cường Commune.

Hoà Bình Commune has 2,892.2 hectares of natural area and 2,629 population.

Administrative boundaries of Hoà Bình Commune: East borders Long An Province; West borders Tân Công Sính Commune; South borders Tháp Mười District and Phú Cường Commune; North borders Tân Hồng District and Long An Province.

After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:

Tân Công Sính Commune retains 7,331.69 hectares of natural area and 3,475 population.

Phú Cường Commune retains 5,506.17 hectares of natural area and 6,215 population.

2. Establish Thạnh Lợi Commune under Tháp Mười District based on 4,268 hectares of natural area and 3,310 population of Hưng Thạnh Commune.

Administrative boundaries of Thạnh Lợi Commune: East borders Long An Province; West borders Hưng Thạnh Commune; South borders Hưng Thạnh Commune and Trường Xuân Commune; North borders Tam Nông District and Long An Province.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries, Hưng Thạnh Commune retains 5,060.25 hectares of natural area and 4,443 population.

Article 2. Nghị định này có hiệu lực sau 15 ngày kể từ ngày ký. Mọi quy định trước đây trái với Nghị định này đều bãi bỏ.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Thap Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree.
