Regarding the issuance of the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of Justice"

THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE

 

Pursuant to the Law on Encouragement of Excellence and Awards dated November 6, 2003;

Pursuant to Decree No. 62/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 6, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Justice,

At the proposal of the Director of the Office of the Ministry of Justice.

DECISION:

Article 1. The Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of Justice" is hereby issued to recognize the contributions of individuals who have made significant contributions to the cause of justice in Vietnam.

Article 2. Individuals awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of Justice" shall receive the medal, a certificate from the Minister of Justice, and their names shall be inscribed in the Traditional Golden Book of the Justice Sector.

Article 3. The awarding of the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of Justice" shall be carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the Awarding of the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of Justice" issued by the Minister of Justice.

Article 4. The Medal "For the Cause of Justice" issued pursuant to Decision No. 713/TC dated November 22, 1995 of the Minister of Justice shall have the same value as the Commemorative Medal "For the Cause of Justice".

Article 5. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 713/TC dated November 22, 1995 of the Minister of Justice.

Article 6. Members of the Justice Sector's Encouragement of Excellence and Awards Council, Heads of units under the Ministry of Justice, Directors of Provincial Justice Departments, and Heads of Enforcement Agencies in provinces and centrally-administered cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
