PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decision No. 155/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 24, 2004 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned enterprises and independent accounting subsidiaries of state-owned corporations;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the plan to adjust the restructuring and renewal of state-owned enterprises under the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province in 2005 as follows:
1. Maintain as state-owned enterprises:
- Hau Giang State Lottery Company.
- Hau Giang Urban Water Supply and Drainage Construction Company.
2. Enterprises to be listed:
- Hau Giang Transport Construction Company.
- Can Tho Sugar Corporation.
3. Enterprises to be transferred to business entities:
- Hau Giang Trade and Tourism Company.
4. Enterprises to be dissolved:
- Long My General Commerce Company.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province shall be responsible for directing the restructuring and renewal of state-owned enterprises under its jurisdiction in accordance with the approved content. For enterprises that cannot be listed, take the initiative to restructure through one of the following methods: auction sale, dissolution, bankruptcy, and report to the Prime Minister.
Article 3. The Ministries of Finance, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province in implementing this Decision.
The Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development shall be responsible for urging, guiding, and monitoring the implementation.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang Province and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision.
