On the basis of Article 103 and Article 106 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the 10th National Assembly, 10th session;
On the basis of the Law on Vietnamese Citizenship 1998;
Considering the proposal of the Government at the Memorandum No. 112/TTr-CP dated June 30, 2009,
DECISION:
Article 1. To revoke Vietnamese citizenship for 1,600 citizens currently residing in Taiwan (China); 13 citizens currently residing in the Federal Republic of Germany; 01 citizen currently residing in Poland; 04 citizens currently residing in the Czech Republic; 02 citizens currently residing in Bulgaria; 01 citizen currently residing in the United States (listed in the attached list).
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signing.
The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the Director of the President's Office, and the citizens named in Article 1 of this Decision are responsible for its implementation./.
