BASED ON Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Election of People's Council Delegates (amended) adopted by the National Assembly on JUNE 21, 1994;
AT THE REQUEST OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE OF VINH LONG IN THE PETITION NO. 1555TT/UBT dated SEPTEMBER 4, 1999 AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT IN THE PETITION NO. 220/TTr - BTCCBCP dated SEPTEMBER 9, 1999,
DECREE:
Article 1. NOW APPROVES THE QUANTITY OF 45 (FORTY-FIVE) VINH LONG PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL DELEGATES FOR THE TERM 1999 - 2004, 19 (NINETEEN) ELECTION UNITS AND THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO BE ELECTED IN EACH ELECTION UNIT OF THE PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL (ATTACHED LIST).
Article 2. THE CHAIRMAN OF THE VINH LONG PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE; THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE ORGANIZATION-CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE MINISTER, HEAD OF THE GOVERNMENT'S OFFICE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS DECREE.
