DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE

Regarding the price of teaching and learning equipment for grade 2 and grade 7 of Ho Chi Minh City Book and School Equipment Company.

Pursuant to Decree No. 77/CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

Pursuant to the decisions of the Minister of Education and Training: Decision No. 12/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated March 24, 2003 on the issuance of the minimum teaching equipment list for grade 2 and Decision No. 23/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated June 9, 2003 on the adjustment and supplementation of the minimum teaching equipment list for grade 2; Decision No. 13/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated March 24, 2003 on the issuance of the minimum teaching equipment list for grade 7 and Decision No. 24/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT dated June 9, 2003 on the adjustment and supplementation of the minimum teaching equipment list for grade 7;

Pursuant to Decision No. 2523 QĐ/BGD&ĐT-KHTC dated June 3, 2003 and Decision No. 2524 QĐ/BGD&ĐT-KHTC dated June 3, 2003; Decision No. 3739 QĐ/BGD&ĐT-KHTC dated July 15, 2003 and Decision No. 3740 QĐ/BGD&ĐT-KHTC dated July 15, 2003 of the Minister of Education and Training approving the samples of equipment included in the minimum teaching equipment list for grade 2 and grade 7.

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Production Material Price Department - Government Price Board;

Clause 4 of Article 6To stipulate the prices of teaching and learning equipment for grade 2 and grade 7 of Ho Chi Minh City Book and School Equipment Company as set forth in Appendix I and Appendix II attached hereto.

The above price is the maximum price (inclusive of value-added tax) for investors to organize procurement in accordance with current regulations.

Article 2. The prices specified in the appendices of Article 1 apply to complete sets of equipment and teaching materials meeting the quantity and type requirements for each subject approved by the Ministry of Education and Training in Decisions No. 12/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT and Decision No. 23/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT; Decision No. 13/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT and Decision No. 24/2003/QĐ-BGD&ĐT (according to the reference samples kept at the Ministry), produced from materials (including purchased semi-finished products and accompanying packaging) consistent with the pricing plan submitted by the selling entity. High-precision equipment (microscopes, scales) must be approved by inspection authorities.

Article 3. The prices stipulated in Article 1 above are the delivery prices at the warehouse of Ho Chi Minh City Book and School Equipment Company on the buyer's means of transport.

Article 4. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decision shall cease to be effective./.
