Regarding the withdrawal of Vietnamese citizenship
PRESIDENT OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
On the basis of Article 103 and Article 106 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the National Assembly, Session 10, Term X;
Pursuant to the Law on Vietnamese Citizenship 1998;
Considering the proposal of the Government at the Report No. 88/CP-XDPL dated July 28, 2005,
DECISION:
Article 1. Terminate Vietnamese citizenship for: 21 citizens currently residing in the Czech Republic; 4 citizens currently residing in the Republic of Singapore; 21 citizens currently residing in Poland; 13 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of Denmark; 51 citizens currently residing in the Lao People's Democratic Republic; 1 citizen currently residing in Belarus; 283 citizens currently residing in the Federal Republic of Germany; 7 citizens currently residing in Austria; 13 citizens currently residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands; 3 citizens currently residing in Ukraine; 38 citizens currently residing in Japan; 11 citizens currently residing in the Slovak Republic; 40 citizens currently residing in China (Hong Kong); 76 citizens currently residing in South Korea; 2 citizens currently residing in Canada; 1 citizen currently residing in Thailand (listed in the attached list).
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
The Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, the Director of the President's Office, and the citizens named in the list mentioned in Article 1 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
