OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
STANDING COMMITTEE OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIET NAM
WHEREAS Article 45 and Article 53 of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam;
WHEREAS Article 12, Article 13, Article 14, and Article 31 of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies dated December 31, 1959;
WHEREAS Resolution of the National Assembly dated May 22, 1968;
CONSIDERING the current situation,
RESOLVES:
Article 1
To organize the election of National Assembly deputies for the fourth session on Sunday, April 11, 1971.
Article 2
The total number of National Assembly deputies to be elected in the fourth session is 420. The total number of electoral units is 80.
Article 3
The number of electoral units, list of units, and number of deputies for each unit at each province and centrally governed city shall be specified in the attached table to this Resolution./.
