Regarding the cancellation of certain Chapters in the State Budget Classification System

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
Pursuant to the State Budget Law No. 01/2002/QH11 dated December 16, 2002;
Pursuant to Decree No. 01/2007/NĐ-CP dated January 4, 2007 of the Government on transferring the General Statistics Office to the Ministry of Planning and Investment; Decree No. 08/NĐ-CP dated August 8, 2007 of the Government on transferring the Central Steering Committee for Encouragement and Commendation, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, and the Government Committee for Official Communications to the Ministry of Home Affairs; Decree No. 09/NĐ-CP dated August 8, 2007 of the Government on transferring the Tourism Administration to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Decision No. 941/QĐ-TTg dated July 25, 2007 of the Prime Minister on dissolving advisory and inter-ministerial coordination bodies established by the Prime Minister;
Pursuant to Decree No. 77/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;
At the proposal of the Director of the State Budget Department.
DECISION:
Article 1. As of the 2008 fiscal year, cancel the following Chapters from the State Budget Classification System that were issued pursuant to Decision No. 280 TC/QĐ/NSNN dated April 15, 1997 and other decisions of the Minister of Finance:
- Chapter 1.047 - Central Steering Committee for Encouragement and Commendation,
- Chapter 1.061 - General Statistics Office,
- Chapter 1.063 - Tourism Administration,
- Chapter 1.099 - Government Committee for Official Communications,
- Chapter 1.101 - Government Committee for Religious Affairs,
- Chapter 1.106 - National Steering Committee for Clean Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, central-level mass organizations, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities are responsible for directing, implementing, and guiding subordinate units to implement this Decision.
Article 4. The Director of the State Budget Department, the Head of the Ministry's Office, and heads of units under the Ministry of Finance are responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of this Decision./.
