PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Government Organization dated December 25, 2001;
On the basis of the Law on State-Owned Enterprises dated November 26, 2003;
On the basis of Decision No. 38/2007/QD-TTg dated March 20, 2007 of the Prime Minister on issuing criteria and classification lists for state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approves the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital directly under the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for the period 2007-2010 as set out in the Appendix attached hereto.
Article 2.
1. Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City:
- Directs the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned enterprises with 100% state capital directly under the committee in accordance with the approved content;
- Decides the proportion of shares held by the parent company in joint stock companies and holding companies in their member enterprises
2. Ministries of Finance, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and related agencies shall be responsible for coordinating with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in implementing the above plan.
The Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development shall be responsible for urging, guiding, and monitoring the implementation.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and heads of related agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
