DECREE-LAW

NO. 106/SL OF SEPTEMBER 9, 1949

ISSUED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

CHAIRMAN

OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 245-SL dated October 14, 1948, which established allowances for members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly,

In response to proposals from the Ministers of Interior and Finance,

Following a resolution by the Council of Ministers after consultation with the Standing Committee of the National Assembly,

ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE-LAW:

Article 1 - The above-mentioned Decree-Law No. 145-SL dated October 14, 1948 is hereby repealed.

Article 2 - Monthly allowances for members of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly as of August 1, 1949 are established as follows:

- Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly...1,700đ

- Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly...1,500đ

- Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly...1,400đ

Article 3- Members who have a family are entitled to a monthly allowance as follows:

Half Allowance:

- Married

- Married with one to three children

- One to three children

Three-quarters of the Allowance:

- Four to six children

Equal to the Allowance:

- Seven or more children

Article 4- The Ministers of Interior and Finance shall implement this Decree-Law accordingly./.
