Decision on announcing the average wage level for state-owned enterprises assigned wage rates in 1998

 THE MINISTER OF LABOR, WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Pursuant to Decree No. 96/CP dated December 7, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs;

Pursuant to Decree No. 28/CP dated March 29, 1997 of the Government on reforming wage and income management in state-owned enterprises;
After receiving the opinions of the Ministry of Finance in Circular No. 3941/TC/TCDN dated October 6, 1998 and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in Circular No. 1182/TLĐ dated September 21, 1998.

At the proposal of the Director of the Wages and Remuneration Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. Now announces the average wage level for the purpose of 1998 for all State-owned corporations and enterprises assigned unit prices by competent authorities at: 900,000 VND/month (nine hundred thousand VND/month). When settling the wage fund according to business results, the average wage level implemented by State-owned corporations and enterprises shall not exceed twice the announced average wage level.

For some enterprises with high profits and significant tax contributions, if the average wage level exceeds twice the announced level above, the Minister, Heads of Ministries and equivalent agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and Chairmen of Management Councils of Corporation 91/TTg shall submit documents to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance for consideration and submission to the Prime Minister for decision.

12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decision takes effect for settling the wage fund implementation in 1998.

Article 3. The Minister, Heads of Ministries and equivalent agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and Chairmen of Management Councils of Corporation 91/TTg are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
