Regarding the amendment and supplementation of Decision No. 432/2000/QĐ-NHNN1 dated October 3, 2000 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on gold-denominated and VND-denominated deposit and loan operations guaranteed by gold prices for credit institutions Ensuring value according to gold price of credit institutions

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank No. 01/1997/QH10 December 12, 1997 and the Law on Credit Institutions No. 02/1997/QH10 December 12, 1997;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 15/CP dated March 2, 1993 on the tasks, powers, and responsibilities of ministries and ministerial-level agencies in state management;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Monetary Policy Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Amend Clause 4, Article 9 of Decision No. 432/2000/QĐ-NHNN1 dated October 3, 2000 regarding the reporting responsibility of credit institutions as follows:
"No later than the tenth day of the following month, report in writing on the situation of gold-denominated and VND-denominated deposits and loans guaranteed by gold prices of the previous month to the State Bank Branch in the province/city where the credit institution's headquarters is located, according to Appendix 1 attached."
Article 2. Amend Clause 3, Article 10 of Decision No. 432/2000/QĐ-NHNN1 dated October 3, 2000 regarding the responsibility of State Bank Branches in provinces/cities as follows:
"No later than the fifteenth day of the following month, report to the State Bank (Bank Inspection Department) on the situation of gold-denominated and VND-denominated deposits and loans guaranteed by gold prices of the previous month of credit institutions within their jurisdiction, according to Appendix 2 attached."
Article 3. Supplement Clause 4, Article 11 of Decision No. 432/2000/QĐ-NHNN1 dated October 3, 2000 regarding the responsibility of the Bank Inspection Department as follows:
"Receive reports on the situation of gold-denominated and VND-denominated deposits and loans guaranteed by gold prices from State Bank Branches in provinces/cities and send copies to relevant departments (Department of Monetary Policy and Department of Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions)."
Article 4. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Article 5. Heads of units under the State Bank; Governors of State Bank Branches in centrally-administered provinces/cities; Chairmen of Boards of Directors, General Directors (Directors) of credit institutions licensed to operate foreign exchange transactions are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
