REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF PRICE DIFFERENTIAL FOR IMPORTED PVC POWDER

In response to Letter No. 349/CV-NVN-KHĐT dated May 30, 2002 of the Vietnam Plastic Corporation requesting the abolition of surcharges and reduction in import duties for PVC powder; Letter without number dated May 30, 2002 of TPC-Vina Company; Letter No. 374/CV-HTQT dated June 24, 2002 of the Vietnam Chemicals Corporation and Letter No. 2021/CV-PMVC dated August 5, 2002 of Phu My Joint Venture Plastics and Chemicals Company requesting to maintain the current rate of price differential collection and import duties for imported PVC powder, based on the directive of the Prime Minister in Government Office's Letter No. 5268/VPCP-KTTH dated September 20, 2002 regarding the collection of price differential for imported PVC powder, the Ministry of Finance hereby informs:
To continue implementing the collection of price differential for imported PVC powder at a rate of 5% as stipulated in Decision No. 03/2000/QĐ-BTC dated January 7, 2000 of the Minister of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance requests that the respective agencies be informed and comply with this directive.
