THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION
- Based on Decree 81/CP dated November 8, 1993 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, authorities, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
- Considering the proposal of the Grassroots Cultural Information Department at Circular No. 202/HTTCS-KH dated May 29, 2000 and Circular No. 1911/VHDT dated May 18, 2000 of the Director of the Ethnic Cultural Affairs Department;
- According to the proposal of the Director of the Planning Department, the Finance and Accounting Department
DECISION:
Article 1. Approve the proposal and configuration of the mobile cultural-information vehicle with the main contents as follows;
1. Equip mobile cultural-information vehicles for mountainous provinces and districts in remote areas according to the spirit of Directive No. 39/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 04/1999/QD-BVHTT of the Minister of Culture and Information. The vehicle configuration shall be as attached.
2. Sources of funding for implementing the proposal:
*In 2000, pilot the provision of six specialized vehicles for six provinces from the budget of the cultural program, with each vehicle costing 300 million VND.
*From 2001 to 2005, incorporate this into the grassroots cultural and information development program to be submitted to the Prime Minister for approval and included in the annual plan for implementation.
Article 2. The Grassroots Cultural Information Department shall take the lead in coordinating with the Ethnic Cultural Affairs Department to guide the configuration of the vehicles, the suppliers, the receiving and managing entities, and the operational methods of the mobile cultural-information vehicles to ensure they meet the set objectives.
Article 3. The Directors of the Planning Department, the Finance Department, the Ethnic Cultural Affairs Department, and the Directors of the Provincial Departments of Culture and Information are responsible for implementing this Decision.
