DECREE

Regarding the issuance of the Rules on Cultural Activities and Public Cultural Service Business Operations

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

At the request of the Minister of Culture - Information,

DECREE:

Article 1. The Rules on Cultural Activities and Public Cultural Service Business Operations are hereby promulgated together with this Decree.

Article 2. The Minister of Culture - Information shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decree.

Article 3. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace the Rules on Film Circulation and Business Operations, Audiovisual Discs, Music Discs; Sale and Rental of Publications; Cultural Activities and Cultural Services in Public Places; Advertising and Signage issued together with Government Decree No. 87/CP dated December 12, 1995 regarding enhanced management of cultural activities and cultural services, and the vigorous eradication of certain serious social evils.

Article 4. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
