Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries of communes and wards; establishment of wards and towns
in districts Ninh Kieu, O Mon and counties Phong Dien, Vinh Thanh,

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City.
DECREE:
Article 1. Adjusting the administrative boundaries of communes and wards; establishing wards and towns in districts Ninh Kieu, O Mon and counties Phong Dien, Vinh Thanh, city Can Tho as follows:
1. Establishing ward An Khanh in district Ninh Kieu based on adjusting 441 hectares of natural area and 7,731 population from ward An Binh.
Ward An Khanh has 441 hectares of natural area and 7,731 population.
Administrative boundary of ward An Khanh: East borders ward Xuan Khanh, ward Hung Lợi; West borders ward Long Hoa, ward Long Tuyen, district Binh Thuy; South borders ward An Binh; North borders ward An Hoa, district Ninh Kieu, ward Long Hoa, district Binh Thuy.
2. Establishing ward Thoi Hoa in district O Mon based on adjusting 702.84 hectares of natural area and 7,766 population from ward Chau Van Lien.
Ward Thoi Hoa has 702.84 hectares of natural area and 7,766 population.
Administrative boundary of ward Thoi Hoa: East borders ward Thoi An, West borders commune Thoi Thanh, county Co Do; South borders ward Chau Van Lien; North borders ward Thoi Long.

Administrative boundary of town Vinh Thanh: East borders commune Thanh My; West borders commune Thanh Quoi; South borders commune Thanh Loc, commune Thanh Quoi; North borders commune Thanh My. After adjusting the administrative boundaries:
- Ward An Binh remains with 752.7 hectares of natural area and 12,721 population.
District Ninh Kieu has 2,922.57 hectares of natural area and 209,274 population, comprising 13 administrative units including wards: Cai Khe, An Hoi, An Cu, Thoi Binh, An Hoa, An Ngiep, An Phu, Tan An, An Lac, Xuan Khanh, Hung Loi, An Binh, and An Khanh.
- Ward Chau Van Lien remains with 955.58 hectares of natural area and 22,719 population.
District O Mon has 12,557.26 hectares of natural area and 127,889 population, comprising 6 administrative units including wards: Chau Van Lien, Thoi Hoa, Phuoc Thoi, Truong Lac, Thoi An, and Thoi Long.
