Based on Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions
Pursuant to Decree No. 28/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 14, 2008, promulgated by the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;
Considering the proposal of the Director General of the Standardization, Measurement, and Quality Control Department,
THE MINISTER OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ISSUES THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY FOR HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT AND SIMILAR PURPOSES.
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS CIRCULAR IS THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION ON ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY FOR HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND SIMILAR PURPOSES (QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN).
Article 2. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM JUNE 1, 2012.
Article 3. AS OF JUNE 1, 2013, HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES NUMBER 1 TO NUMBER 2 IN ANNEX QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN MUST COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION.
AS OF JUNE 1, 2014, HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES NUMBER 3 TO NUMBER 7 IN ANNEX QCVN 9:2012/BKHCN MUST COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION.
Article 4. FROM THE DATE THIS CIRCULAR TAKES EFFECT UNTIL THE DATE SPECIFIED IN ARTICLE 3 OF THIS CIRCULAR, ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ENGAGED IN THE PRODUCTION, IMPORT, DISTRIBUTION, AND RETAIL OF HOUSEHOLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST PREPARE NECESSARY CONDITIONS TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS NATIONAL TECHNICAL REGULATION.
Article 5. THE DIRECTOR OF THE NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE, HEADS OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED THEREWITH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR.
DURING THE IMPLEMENTATION, IF THERE ARE ANY DIFFICULTIES, ORGANIZATIONS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS SHOULD PROMPTLY REPORT TO THE MINISTRY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FOR STUDY AND AMENDMENT./.
