CIRCULAR
Regulations on Professional Conditions for Organizations Conducting Yoga Training and Competitions
Pursuant to the Law on Physical Education and Sports dated November 29, 2006; sports, physical education on November 29, 2006;
Pursuant to Decree No. 112/2007/NĐ-CP dated June 26, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Sports;Pursuant to Decree No. 106/2016/NĐ-CP dated July 1, 2016 of the Governmentstipulating business conditions for sports activities; Pursuant to Decree No. 76/2013/NĐ-CP dated July 16, 2013 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, sports, physical Director of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports;
the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues this Circular stipulating professional conditions for organizations conducting Yoga training and competitions. At the proposal of Article 1. This Circular stipulates professional conditions for organizations conducting Yoga training and competitions. Director of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports;
Article 2. Yoga training and competition is a mandatory sports activity with guided training.This Circular applies to organizations and individuals organizing Yoga training and competition activities in Vietnam.b) Flat surface, not slippery. Provincial public libraries have professional and vocational units to implement activities according to the following groups of tasks:
At the proposal of the Director-General of the General Department of Physical Training and Sport;
a) Technical and vocational task group: carry out tasks related to building, processing, organizing, and preserving information resources; guide, advise, and support the development of library networks; Yoga: A sport that uses exercise methods involving physical practice exercises (Asana) combined with breathing exercises (Pranayama) to enhance health, prevent and mitigate diseases.
Article 1. Scope of Regulation

1. A flat, non-slip floor.
Article 2. Applicability
2. The distance from the floor to the ceiling must be at least 2.7 meters.
Article 3. Explanation of Terms
In this Circular, the following terms shall be understood as follows:
3. The training space must be well-ventilated, with lighting of at least 150 lux.
4. There must be a restroom area, changing room, personal storage area for participants, first aid kit, and initial emergency equipment.
5. There must be a bulletin board displaying the following main contents: Training hours, participants eligible for training, those not allowed to participate, attire for training, safety measures during training, and other regulations.
6. Outdoor Yoga training and competition activities must comply with the provisions of Clauses 1, 3, 4, and 5 of this Article.
Article 5. Equipment
1. Training equipment:
a) Ensure each participant has one personal mat or a large mat on the floor;
b) For Yoga fly movements: A hammock (rope) capable of supporting at least 300 kilograms, installed on a suspension system ensuring safety for the practitioner. The length of the rope can be adjusted to fit the practitioner's posture;
c) Any support equipment for Yoga training must ensure safety and not pose a danger to the practitioner.

b) Communication devices for event organizers and managers;
c) Stopwatches, time display boards, scoreboards, loudspeakers, field boundary markings.
Article 6. Yoga Training Seminars
Clause 2. Competition equipment:
1. The General Department of Physical Education and Sports or the Vietnam Yoga Federation shall organize professional seminars for Yoga instructors.
3. The certificate of completion issued by the seminar organizer is valid for five years from the date of issuance. The format of the certificate is specified in the Appendix attached to this Circular.
Article 7. Instructor-to-Participant Ratio
2. Each instructor may not oversee more than thirty participants in a one-hour class.
2. The content, program, and duration of the professional training shall be decided by the General Department of Sports.
2. The Cultural, Sports and Tourism Inspectorate shall inspect and handle violations of professional conditions for organizing Yoga training and competitions within its authority.
3. Provincial Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Provincial Departments of Culture and Sports) under central cities have the responsibility to guide and implement this Circular.
This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2017.
During implementation, if any issues arise, organizations and individuals are advised to promptly report them to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for timely resolution./.
Article 8. Implementation organization
1. The General Department of Physical Education and Sports shall be responsible for guiding and inspecting the implementation of this Circular.
2. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall conduct inspections and handle, within its authority, organizations and individuals violating the provisions on professional conditions for practicing and competing in Yoga.
3. Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Departments of Culture and Sports) of provinces and centrally governed cities shall be responsible for guiding and implementing this Circular.
Article 9. Effective Date
This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2017.
During implementation, if any difficulties arise, organizations and individuals are requested to promptly report them to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for study and timely resolution./.
