2. Purpose and tasks of mine closure work

2.1. Purpose

State the purpose of preparing the mine closure project, clarifying whether the mine closure is intended to return the mine to a safe state (such as leveling the slope of the mine boundary, stabilizing the final layer of extraction...) or to protect it due to unexploited mineral reserves within the permitted area or to liquidate all permitted mineral reserves?

2.2. Tasks

Summarize and list the specific tasks that must be achieved in the mine closure work according to the stated purpose, clarifying:

Aggregate and statistically analyze the volume (reserves) of minerals already extracted, remaining volume (reserves) if any, up to the time of project preparation based on the collection of current status maps, cross-sections, and statistical data of volumes (reserves) from the initial construction of the mine to the project preparation stage;

Confirm completion of environmental remediation according to the approved environmental remediation plan, mining exploitation plan; current status of the exploitation area, volume of mine closure works; financial settlement of previously deposited environmental remediation funds;

Calculate and determine specific items and projects; volume of each item and project in the mine closure works; implementation time; implementation costs; specific measures needed during the implementation of the mine closure project.
