DECREE-LAW

NO. 110/SL OF SEPTEMBER 23, 1949

ISSUED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

THE PRESIDENT

OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

In light of the requirements of the situation;

Pursuant to the decision of the Council of Ministers,

 

ISSUES THE DECREE-LAW:

Article 1- The Viet Bac Base Area Committee is hereby established under the Office of the President.

Article 2- The Viet Bac Base Area Committee shall consist of three members: one chairman and two staff members.

Article 3- The tasks and powers of the Viet Bac Base Area Committee are as follows:

1) To monitor and provide opinions on the implementation of government plans within the base area.

2) To directly interact with Ministries and Anti-French Resistance Administrative Committees to propose necessary matters.

3) To collect and disseminate experiences.

Article 4- Details regarding the organization and methods of operation of the Viet Bac Base Area Committee shall be stipulated by a subsequent decree.

Article 5- The Prime Minister shall implement this Decree-Law accordingly./.
