PRIME MINISTER

Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/ND-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 28/2008/ND-CP dated March 14, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology,

DECISION:

Article 1. Scientific and technological institutions under the Ministry of Science and Technology include:

1. Institute of Applied Technology.

2. Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute.

3. Institute of Intellectual Property Science.

4. Institute for Science Evaluation and Technology Valuation (formerly known as the Center for Supporting Science and Technology Assessment).

5. Local Science and Technology Board.

6. Regional Research and Development Center.

7. Center for Research and Development of Science and Technology Communication.

8. Tia Sang Magazine.

9. Office for Accreditation of Quality Certification Organizations (referred to as the Quality Accreditation Office).

10. Office for Registration of Science and Technology Activities.

Article 2. Effective Date

This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance. Previous regulations contrary to this Decision are abolished.

Article 3. Responsibility for Implementation

The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
