NUMBER: 111 DATE: January 20, 1948
OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
PRESIDENT OF THE VIETNAM DEMOCRATIC REPUBLICIC GOVERNMENT
PURSUANT TO Decree No. 53 dated March 22, 1946 and Decree No. 71 dated May 22, 1946 organizing and establishing the rules of the national army,
AT THE PROPOSAL OF the Minister of National Defense and the Chief Commander of the National Army;
AFTER THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS reached an agreement;
ISSUES THE DECREE:
Article 1
Mr. HOANG VAN THAI, Chief of the General Staff of the National Army of Vietnam, is now promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General, effective from January 1, 1948.
Article 2
The Ministers of National Defense and the Chief Commander of the National Army shall implement this Decree.
