Regarding the establishment of the Draft Ordinance Drafting Board to amend and supplement certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance
supplementing some Articles of the Veterinary Ordinance
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Resolution No. 33/1999/QH10 of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, tenth session, sixth meeting (from November 18, 1999 to December 21, 1999) on the legislative program for 2000;
At the request of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,
DECISION:
Article 1. The Draft Ordinance Drafting Board to amend and supplement certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance shall consist of the following members:
1. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chairperson;
2. The Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Chairperson;
3. The Vice Minister of Justice, member;
4. The Vice Minister of Health, member;
5. The Vice Minister of Fisheries, member;
6. The Deputy Director General of Customs Department, member.
Article 2. Duties of the Draft Ordinance Drafting Board:
1. Assist the Government in directing and managing the research, survey, collection of materials, and drafting of the content of the Ordinance to amend and supplement certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance;
2. Establish the Drafting Team of the Draft Ordinance to amend and supplement certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance and direct the Drafting Team to carry out tasks related to the Draft Ordinance;
3. Organize the solicitation of opinions from relevant ministries, sectors, and agencies on the content of the Draft Ordinance to amend and supplement certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance;
4. Report
5. Propose the schedule and budget estimate for the Draft Ordinance project. Organize the implementation of the Draft Ordinance project according to the schedule;
6. Submit the Draft Ordinance project to the Government for consideration and approval to submit to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
Article 3. By no later than February 20, 2000, the agencies represented in the Draft Ordinance Drafting Board shall notify the Chairperson of the list of representatives participating in the Draft Ordinance Drafting Board to amend and supplement certain provisions of the Animal Health Ordinance.
Article 4. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, and Heads of government-affiliated agencies with representatives participating in the Draft Ordinance Drafting Board are responsible for implementing this Decision.
