Regarding the transfer of state management tasks and salt production and business operations

 salt to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development 

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Considering the proposal of the Minister, Head of the Organization - Cadre Department of the Government, 

DECISION:

Article 1. The Ministry of Trade transfers to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development the state management tasks related to salt production and business operations.

The Ministry of Trade hands over the Vietnam Salt Corporation (including all assets, infrastructure, and labor) to be directly managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Finance, and the Government's Organizational and Cadre Affairs Committee shall organize the handover swiftly and efficiently without affecting the production and business activities of the Vietnam Salt Corporation and salt-producing and trading enterprises.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial and municipal People's Committees under the central government, Chairpersons of the Vietnam Salt Corporation Board of Directors, General Directors of the Vietnam Salt Corporation, and Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
