DECREE
APPROVING THE NUMBER OF PROVINCE PEOPLE'S CONGRESS DELEGATES ELECTED IN ELECTION UNIT NO. 02 AND THE QUANTITY OF PROVINCE PEOPLE'S CONGRESS DELEGATES OF YEN BAY PROVINCE FOR THE 2004-2009 TERM
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to Article 42 of the Law on Election of People's Congress Delegates dated November 26, 2003;
Pursuant to Article 9 of Decree No. 19/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 10, 2004 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Election of People's Congress Delegates 2003;
At the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province and the Minister of Home Affairs regarding the reduction of the number of provincial People's Congress delegates elected in election unit No. 02 of Yen Bai City, Yen Bai Province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Approves the number of provincial People's Congress delegates elected in election unit No. 02 of Yen Bai City to be 2 (two) delegates; The quantity of provincial People's Congress delegates of Yen Bai Province for the 2004-2009 term to be 56 (fifty-six) delegates.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decree No. 67/2004/NĐ-CP dated February 21, 2004 on the number of provincial People's Congress delegates and the number of delegates elected in election unit No. 02 of Yen Bai City, Yen Bai Province.
Article 3. The Chairperson of the People's Council, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister, Head of the Government Office shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
