Circular No. 1140/TC/VP amending Circular No. 109/2003/TT-BTC

Regarding the announcement of non-use of free toll road cards

Hanoi, February 19, 2003

 

 

To:

- National Assembly Office, President's Office,
- Central Committee Financial and Administrative Affairs Office,
- Government Office, Ministries, agencies at ministerial level,
- People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities,
- Units and agencies that have been issued free toll road cards.

As of March 1, 2003, all toll stations under the management of the Vietnam Highway Administration will implement toll collection in accordance with Circular No. 109/2002/TT-BTC dated December 6, 2002, Correction Notice No. 1140 TC/VP dated February 7, 2003, Circular No. 01/2003/TT-BTC dated January 7, 2003, and Circular No. 12/2003/TT-BTC dated February 18, 2003 of the Ministry of Finance regarding toll collection, payment, and management; specifically at point c) clause 1, section I part III Circular No. 109/2002/TT-BTC:

“All types of free road cards that have been printed, issued, and are currently in circulation shall be abolished from the date this circular takes effect.”

The Vietnam Highway Administration hereby informs all relevant agencies and units to purchase toll tickets (single trip, monthly, quarterly) at toll stations when using vehicles on roads subject to toll collection, starting March 1, 2003.

The Vietnam Highway Administration sincerely thanks all agencies and units for their assistance in helping the toll stations of the Administration fulfill their tasks./.
