APPROVING THE NUMBER OF PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL DELEGATES
ELECTED FROM ELECTION UNIT NO. 01 AND THE NUMBER OF PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL DELEGATES
FOR THE CAO BANG PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL TERM 2004-2009

WHEREAS Article 42 of the Law on Election of People's Council Delegates dated November 26, 2003;
WHEREAS Clause 9 of Decree No. 19/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 10, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Election of People's Council Delegates 2003;
ON THE PROPOSAL OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CAO BANG PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COMMITTEE AND THE MINISTER OF INTERIOR regarding the reduction of the number of delegates to the Cao Bang Province People's Council elected from election unit No. 01, Cao Bang city, Cao Bang province,
DECREE:
Article 1. APPROVES THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO THE CAO BANG PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL ELECTED FROM ELECTION UNIT NO. 01, CAO BANG CITY, TO BE THREE (3) DELEGATES; THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES TO THE CAO BANG PROVINCE PEOPLE'S COUNCIL TERM 2004-2009 ELECTED TO BE FORTY-NINE (49) DELEGATES.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE AND SHALL REPLACE Decree No. 87/2004/NĐ-CP dated February 21, 2004 on the total number of delegates to the Cao Bang Province People's Council and the number of delegates elected from election unit No. 01, Cao Bang city, Cao Bang province.
Article 3. The Chairmen of the People's Councils, the Chairmen of the People's Committees of Cao Bang province, the Minister of Interior, and the Chairman of the Office of the Government shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
