OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
PRESIDENT OF THE VIETNAM DEMOCRATIC REPUBLICIC GOVERNMENT
PURSUANT TO Decree No. 33 dated March 22, 1946 and Decree No. 71 dated May 22, 1946 organizing and establishing the rules for the National Army;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENSE AND THE CHIEF COMMANDER OF THE NATIONAL ARMY;
AFTER THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS REACHED A CONSENSUS;
ISSUES THE DECREE:
Article 1
Mr. Nguyen Binh, Head of Zone VII, concurrently Military Commissioner of Southern Vietnam, is now granted the rank of Lieutenant General.
Article 2
THE MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENSE AND THE CHIEF COMMANDER OF THE NATIONAL ARMY shall implement this decree accordingly.
