PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province at Document No. 901/UBND dated May 15, 2007; the Ministry of Home Affairs at Document No. 1614/BNV-TCBT dated June 6, 2007; and the Ministry of Health at Report No. 542/TTr-BYT dated June 20, 2007 on the transfer of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi to be directly managed by the Ministry of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. Transfer the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi from the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province to be directly under the management of the Ministry of Health.
Article 2. Entrust the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province and the Minister of Health to organize the handover and reception of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi in its current state in accordance with the current laws. During the handover and reception process, all medical examination and treatment activities of the hospital must ensure normalcy.
The Minister of Health shall specify the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure, and staffing of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi.
Article 3. The Ministry of Health shall take the lead and coordinate with the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province and relevant agencies to promulgate the Regulations on the Management Coordination of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital Dong Hoi.
Article 4. This Decision shall take effect from the date of signing.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under the direct jurisdiction of the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
