DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER

Issuing the Model Charter for the Organization and Operation of Science and Technology Development Funds

of Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, provinces, and cities

under the central government

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Based on the Law on Science and Technology dated June 9, 2000;

At the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology,

DECISION:

Article 1. The Model Charter for the Organization and Operation of Science and Technology Development Funds of Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, centrally governed provinces, and municipalities is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, People's Committees of centrally governed provinces, and municipalities shall establish Science and Technology Development Funds based on their specific needs and conditions, and approve their Charters for organization and operation based on this Model Charter.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Minister of Science and Technology is responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decision.

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
