THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Article 26 of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance promulgated on February 15, 1993;
Pursuant to the regulations on the management of plant protection chemicals issued together with Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Plant Protection and Quarantine Ordinance;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Plant Protection Department and the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department;
DECISION:
Article 1. To register a type of insecticide in the list of plant protection chemicals permitted for use in Vietnam (attached list).
Article 2. The export and import of the plant protection chemical established in this decision shall be carried out in accordance with Circular No. 62/2001/TT-BNN dated June 5, 2001 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development guiding the export and import of goods under specialized agricultural administration pursuant to Decision No. 46/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 of the Prime Minister on the management of export goods during the period 2001-2005.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature.
The Plant Protection Department shall be responsible for providing detailed guidance on safe and effective use of the aforementioned plant protection products.
Article 4. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Plant Protection Department, the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department, the Heads of units under the Ministry, and domestic organizations, individuals, and foreign persons managing, producing, trading, and using plant protection chemicals in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this decision.
