Regarding the establishment of the Steering Committee for Planning and Investment Construction in the Hanoi Capital Region

Establishing the Steering Committee for Planning and Investment Construction in the Hanoi Capital Region with the functions and powers as follows:

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

1. Directing planning and investment construction work in the Hanoi Capital Region.

DECISION:

Article 1. 2. Directing the examination and proposing special mechanisms and solutions during the implementation of planning and management of investment construction in the Hanoi Capital Region, to be submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision, or authorized by the Prime Minister to make decisions.

3. Inspecting and urging relevant ministries, departments, the People's Committee of Hanoi City, and the provinces of Ha Tay, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Ha Nam to implement planning and management of investment construction in the Hanoi Capital Region; deciding on measures to resolve issues arising during the implementation process.

4. Directing cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations and experts to study and implement planning and management of investment construction in the Hanoi Capital Region.

Members of the Steering Committee include:

3. Deputy Minister of National Defense,

4. Deputy Minister of Industry,

5. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development,

6. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment,

7. Deputy Director of the Government Office,

8. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanoi City,

9. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tay Province,

10. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh Province,

11. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc Province,

12. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province,

13. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province,

14. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong Province,

15. Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam Province.

For documents within the authority of the Prime Minister, the Chairperson of the Steering Committee shall use the seal of the Government.

The Chairperson of the Steering Committee; Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, and government-affiliated agencies; Chairpersons of the People's Committees of Hanoi City and the provinces of Ha Tay, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Ha Nam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.

Article 3. For legal documents within the authority of the Prime Minister, the Head of the Steering Committee shall use the seal of the Government.

Article 4. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

The Head of the Steering Committee; Ministers; Heads of ministerial-level agencies and government-affiliated agencies; Chairman of the People's Committee of Hanoi City; Chairmen of the People's Committees of the provinces of Ha Tay, Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Ha Nam are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
