DECREE
Regarding the dissolution of Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town, Lang Giang district;
Adjusting the administrative boundaries of Tan An commune to establish Tan Dan town,
Lang Giang district,
Yen Duong district, Bac Giang province
THE GOVERNMENT
Based on the Law on the Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province,
DECREE:
Article 1. Dissolve Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town, Lang Giang district; adjust the administrative boundaries of Tan An commune to establish Tan Dan town, Yen Duong district, Bac Giang province as follows:
1. Dissolve Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town, Lang Giang district
The population of the dissolved Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town shall be adjusted as follows:
- Transfer 657 people from Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town to Quang Thinh commune, Lang Giang district for management;
- Transfer 551 people from Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town to Dong Son commune, Yen The district for management;
- Transfer 273 people from Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town to Dong Huu commune, Yen The district for management;
- The natural area of the former agricultural farm that belonged to the administrative unit of which commune shall now be transferred to the administrative unit of that commune for management.
After dissolving Cam Bo Ha agricultural farm town:
- Quang Thinh commune, Lang Giang district has 1,133.61 hectares of natural area and 8,632 people.
Lang Giang district has 24,606 hectares of natural area and 197,176 people, with 24 subordinate administrative units including communes: Huong Son, Tan Ding, Xuan Huong, Tien Luc, My Thai, Quang Thinh, Tan Hung, Dinh Tri, An Ha, Dao My, Huong Lac, Phi Mo, Tan Thanh, Nghia Hoa, Thai Dao, Xuong Lam, Dai Lam, Yen My, Duong Duc, Nghia Hung, My Ha, Tan Thinh, Vo market town and Kepp market town.
- Dong Son commune, Yen The district has 2,613.6 hectares of natural area and 7,972 people.
- Dong Huu commune, Yen The district has 2,169.3 hectares of natural area and 4,836 people.
Yen The district has 30,101.53 hectares of natural area and 92,758 people, with 21 subordinate administrative units including communes: Dong Vuong, Canh Nau, Dong Ky, Bo Ha, Huong Vi, Dong Son, Xuan Luong, Tam Tien, Tien Thang, Tan Hiep, Tam Hiep, An Thượng, Phồn Xương, Dong Lac, Hong Ky, Dong Huu, Tan Soi, Dong Tien, Cau Go market town, Bo Ha market town and Nong Trai Yen The market town.
2. Establish Tan Dan town under Yen Duong district
- Establish Tan Dan town under Yen Duong district based on adjusting 494.34 hectares of natural area and 5,448 people from Tan An commune.
Tan Dan town has 494.34 hectares of natural area and 5,448 people.
Administrative boundary of Tan Dan town: East borders Tan An commune; West borders Huong Gian commune, Yen Duong district and Dinh Tri commune, Lang Giang district; South borders Tan An commune and Xuan Phu commune; North borders Thai Dao commune, Lang Giang district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tan Dan town:
Tan An commune retains 428.01 hectares of natural area and 3,437 people.
Yen Duong district has 21,290 hectares of natural area and 164,459 people, with 25 subordinate administrative units including communes: Canh Thuy, Thang Cuong, Song Khe, Lao Ho, Tan Liu, Tan Tien, Duc Giang, Dong Viet, Tien Dung, Tu Mai, Nam Son, Noi Hoang, Tan My, Tri Yen, Quynh Son, Lang Son, Dong Phuc, Dong Son, Tien Phong, Huong Gian, Xuan Phu, Tan An, Yen Lu, Neo market town and Tan Dan market town.
Article 2. This Decree takes effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decree are abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Interior, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province and the heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
