Regarding the amendment and supplementation of Decision No. 0674/2004/QĐ-BTM dated May 31, 2004, issued by the Minister of Trade on the issuance of the list of inland areas far from international ports with high business costs, assuming an increase in the reference price of petroleum products by 2%.
On the basis of Point 4, Article 11, of the Petroleum Business Management Regulation promulgated together with Decision No. 187/2004/QĐ-TTg dated September 15, 2003, of the Prime Minister;
Considering the proposal of the Director of the Domestic Market Policy Department;
Amend, revise, and supplement Articles 1 and 2 of Decision No. 0674/2004/QĐ-BTM dated May 31, 2004, issued by the Minister of Trade on the issuance of the list of inland areas far from international ports receiving petroleum products, with high business costs, and an increase in the reference price of petroleum products by up to 2%, as follows: In Article 1, it shall be amended as follows: The Decision shall issue the list of inland areas far from international ports receiving petroleum products, with high business costs, where the reference price of petroleum products may be increased by a maximum of 2%.

Pursuant to Decree No. 29/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 16, 2004 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Trade;
In Article 2, it shall be amended as follows: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall replace Decision No. 1750/2003/QĐ-BTM dated December 15, 2003, issued by the Minister of Trade on the issuance of the list of inland areas far from international ports receiving petroleum products, with high business costs, where the reference price of petroleum products may be increased by a maximum of 2%.
All other provisions of Decision No. 0674/2004/QĐ-BTM dated May 31, 2004, issued by the Minister of Trade remain unchanged and continue to be enforced./.
DECISION:
Article 1. Amend, supplement and replace Article 1 and Article 2 of Decision No. 0674/2004/QĐ-BTM dated May 31, 2004 of the Minister of Trade on the List of remote localities from international ports receiving petroleum products with high business costs, where the guiding price of petroleum products is increased by 2%, as follows:
In Article 1, it shall be amended to read: The Decision hereby promulgates the List of remote localities from international ports receiving petroleum products with high business costs, where the guiding price of petroleum products may be increased by a maximum of 2%.
In Article 2, it shall be amended to read: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette and shall supersede Decision No. 1750/2003/QĐ-BTM dated December 15, 2003 of the Minister of Trade on the promulgation of the List of remote localities from international ports receiving petroleum products with high business costs, where the guiding price of petroleum products may be increased by a maximum of 2%.
Article 2. Other contents of Decision No. 0674/2004/QĐ-BTM dated May 31, 2004 of the Minister of Trade remain unchanged and continue to be effective./.
