DECREE
Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of certain communes
belonging to the districts of Bình Long, Lộc Ninh, Phước Long, and Bù Đăng, Province of Bình Phước
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bình Phước Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted and certain communes are established in the districts of Bình Long, Lộc Ninh, Phước Long, and Bù Đăng, Province of Bình Phước as follows:
1. Establishing An Phú commune in Bình Long district based on 5,016 hectares of natural area and 503 population of Thanh Lương commune; 2,230 hectares of natural area and 5,964 population of An Lộc town.
An Phú commune has 7,246 hectares of natural area and 6,467 population.
Administrative boundary of An Phú commune: North borders Thanh Lương commune and Lộc Ninh district; East borders Thanh Phú commune and An Lộc town; South borders Thanh Bình commune and Minh Đức commune; West borders Tây Ninh province.
2. Establishing Thanh Phú commune in Bình Long district based on 1,689 hectares of natural area and 6,043 population of Thanh Lương commune; 1,272 hectares of natural area and 4,371 population of An Lộc town.
Thanh Phú commune has 2,961 hectares of natural area and 10,414 population.
Administrative boundary of Thanh Phú commune: North borders Thanh Lương commune; East borders Thanh An commune; South borders An Phú commune and An Lộc town; West borders An Phú commune.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Thanh Lương commune has 6,695 hectares of natural area and 7,970 population.
An Lộc town has 1,109 hectares of natural area and 15,610 population.
3. Establishing Tân Thành commune in Lộc Ninh district based on 4,050 hectares of natural area and 4,539 population of Tân Tiến commune.
Administrative boundary of Tân Thành commune: North borders Cambodia; East borders Tân Tiến commune; South borders Lộc Hiệp commune; West borders Lộc An commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary, Tân Tiến commune has 4,250 hectares of natural area and 3,648 population.
4. Establishing Bù Gia Mập commune in Phước Long district based on 23,276 hectares of natural area and 4,001 population of Đak Ơ commune.
Administrative boundary of Bù Gia Mập commune: North borders Cambodia; East borders Đak Rlap district, Dak Lak province; South borders Đức Hạnh commune and Bù Đăng district; West borders Đak Ơ commune.
After adjusting the administrative boundary, Đak Ơ commune has 36,724 hectares of natural area and 4,673 population.
5. Establishing Bom Bo commune in Bù Đăng district based on 6,280 hectares of natural area and 1,358 population of Đak Nhau commune; 6,400 hectares of natural area and 2,010 population of Minh Hưng commune.
Bom Bo commune has 12,680 hectares of natural area and 3,368 population.
Administrative boundary of Bom Bo commune: North borders Đak Nhau commune; East borders Thọ Sơn commune and Đoàn Kết commune; South borders Minh Hương commune; West borders Phước Long district.
After the adjustment of administrative boundaries:
Đak Nhau commune has 24,490 hectares of natural area and 2,669 population.
Minh Hưng commune has 12,350 hectares of natural area and 3,307 population.
Article 2. THIS DECREE SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS DATE OF ISSUANCE. ALL PRIOR PROVISIONS CONTRARY TO THIS DECREE SHALL BE ABROGATED.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bình Phước Province and the Minister, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
