Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman Within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the dossier as mentioned in Sub-clause b, Clause 1, Article 3 above, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will review and submit to the competent authority for decision (Issues exceeding the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' jurisdiction will be referred to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision).The National Committee on "International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction" and the Minister, Head of the Government Organization and Cadres Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. Dissolve the National Committee of Vietnam on "International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction" established pursuant to Decision No. 11/CT dated January 7, 1991 of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers (now Prime Minister of the Government).
Article 2. Entrust the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention with the responsibility of being the focal point of Vietnam to participate in subsequent activities of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR).
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF SIGNATURE.
Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government agencies, and Chairpersons of Provincial People's Committees and Municipal People's Committees directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision.
