Regarding the issuance of temporary regulations on the main contents of basic geological investigation work concerning natural resources and solid minerals in the nearshore continental shelf (0-3 meters water depth) at a scale of 1/100,000 to 1/50,000
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to Decision No. 510/QĐ-CNCL dated March 31, 2000 of the Minister of Industry regarding the initiation of tasks for geological investigation, mineral resources, environmental geology, and geological disasters in the South Central coastal region from 0-10 meters water depth at a scale of 1/50,000, and from 10-25 meters water depth at a scale of 1/100,000;
Considering the proposal of the Director General of the Vietnam Geological and Mineral Resources Department in Document No. 1171CV/ĐCKS-TĐ dated December 27, 2000 regarding the submission for approval and issuance of provisional norms and unit prices for the geological and mineral resource investigation work in the nearshore continental shelf (1/100,000 - 1/50,000) and the Minutes of the Review Board's Meeting on the Project Report No. 55/2000/HĐXD dated November 28, 2000;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Technology Management and Product Quality,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issued together with this Decision are the Temporary Regulations on the Main Contents of Basic Geological Investigation Work Concerning Natural Resources and Solid Minerals in the Nearshore Continental Shelf (0-30 meters water depth) at a Scale of 1/100,000 - 1/50,000.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. Any previous provisions contrary to these Regulations are hereby abolished.
The Head of the Ministry’s Office, Directors of the Departments of Technology Management and Product Quality, Planning and Investment, Finance and Accounting, Legal Affairs, Director of the Vietnam Geological and Mineral Resources Department, Heads of geological units under the Ministry of Industry are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
