 MINISTER OF LABOUR, INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Pursuant to the Goods Quality Ordinance dated December 24, 1999;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 179/2004/ND-CP dated October 21, 2004 on state management of product and commodity quality;

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 29/2003/ND-CP dated March 31, 2003 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs;

Pursuant to the Circular No. 02/2006/TT-BKHCN dated January 10, 2006 of the Ministry of Science and Technology guiding conditions and procedures for designating organizations to conduct product and commodity quality inspections;

Pursuant to the results of the assessment by the Competence Assessment Council of designated inspection organizations (established pursuant to Decision No. 301/QD-LDTBXH dated March 6, 2007 of the Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs);

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health.

DECISION:

Article 1. Designate the following agencies and organizations to carry out product and commodity quality inspections:

1) Construction Technical Safety Inspection Center under the Ministry of Construction, No. 4 Ton That Tung Street, Hanoi;

2) Agricultural and Rural Development Technical Safety Inspection Center under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, No. 2 Ngoc Ha, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi;

3) Hanoi Technical Safety Inspection Center under the Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, No. 75 To Xuan Thanh Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi;

4) Industrial Technical Safety Inspection Center I under the General Directorate of Industrial Safety and Technology - Ministry of Industry, Alley 102 Truong Chinh, Dong Da District, Hanoi;

5) Industrial Technical Safety Inspection Center II under the General Directorate of Industrial Safety and Technology - Ministry of Industry, No. 365/8 Bach Dang, Ward 14, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City;

6) Ho Chi Minh City Occupational Safety and Health Technical Inspection and Training Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, No. 153A Xo Viet Nghiep Tinh Street, Ward 17, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Article 2. The scope of products and commodities subject to quality inspection is set forth in the attached appendix.

Article 3. The organizations named above and related agencies and organizations are responsible for implementing this Decision.

Article 4. The validity period of this Decision is three years. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette./.
