THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006; Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations;

Pursuant to Circular No. 23/2007/TT-BKHCN dated September 28, 2007 of the Ministry of Science and Technology guiding the drafting, review, and issuance of technical regulations;

At the proposal of the Director of the Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection Agency;

DECISION:

Article 1. Issued together with this Decision is the National Technical Regulation on Electrical Safety QCVN01:2008/BCT. This regulation replaces Industry Standard II TCN-16₁-84 to II TCN-16₇-84 Technical Safety Regulations for Operation of Electrical Equipment in Power Plants and Power Grids issued together with Decision No. 25 DL/KT dated January 22, 1985 of the Minister of Electric Power;

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and shall apply throughout the country.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, Inspectorate, Departments, Agencies, Provincial Departments of Industry and Trade under central cities, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
