Pursuant to Decree No. 188/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 27, 2007 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decision No. 197/QD-TTg dated December 27, 2001 of the Prime Minister approving the national policy on prevention and control of accidents and injuries for the period 2002-2010;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment, the Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environment, Ministry of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHING HERETO THE STANDARDS FOR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF HEALTH WORKERS AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN ESSENTIAL TRAUMA CARE TO BE IMPLEMENTED AT MEDICAL FACILITIES.
Article 2. ASSIGNING THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND TREATMENT TO COORDINATE WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PREVENTIVE MEDICINE AND ENVIRONMENT AND HEADS OF RELATED BUREAUS AND DEPARTMENTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECISION.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 4. The following officials are responsible for implementing this Decision: Head of the Ministry's Office, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment, Director of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environment, Head of the Ministry's Inspectorate, Heads of all Departments, Directors of all Departments and Bureaus under the Ministry of Health, Directors of Health Services of provinces and centrally governed cities, Heads of Health Services of sectors, and Heads of medical facilities./.
