Pursuant to the Law on Vocational Education dated November 27, 2014;
Pursuant to the Law on Physical Education and Sports dated November 29, 2006; the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Physical Education and Sports dated June 14, 2018;
Pursuant to Decree No. 14/2017/NĐ-CP dated February 17, 2017, of the Government, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs;
At the proposal of the Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education;
The Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs issues this Circular on issuing the Physical Education subject curriculum within the common subjects block in the training program for intermediate and college levels.
Article 1. Attached to this Circular is the Physical Education subject curriculum within the common subjects block in the training program for intermediate and college levels (not applicable to training fields and occupations under the management of the Ministry of Education and Training).
For training programs of fields and occupations in the security and defense sector, depending on actual requirements, the Ministry of National Defense or the Ministry of Public Security shall coordinate with the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to examine and adjust the subject curriculum appropriately to meet training requirements, ensuring that the volume of knowledge and class hours after adjustment are equal to or greater than those specified in this Circular.
Article 2. This Circular takes effect from November 15, 2018. Vocational education institutions and universities conducting Physical Education courses within the common subjects block in the training program for intermediate and college levels before the effective date of this Circular shall continue to implement teaching according to current regulations until the end of the academic year.
Article 3. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, political-social organizations, provincial and municipal people's committees directly under the central government, vocational education institutions, universities with vocational education registration, and other related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular.
